There are weddings that are beautiful. And then there are weddings that are felt — in the air, in the music, in the way the flowers seem to breathe. Aleczander and Sophia's celebration at Villa Miani on 18 October 2025 was unmistakably the second kind.

Two hundred guests gathered on Monte Mario hill on an October evening when Rome was still warm and golden. The skyline glowed behind St. Peter's dome. And inside the Secret Garden, something extraordinary was taking shape: a world built entirely from white flowers, Venezuelan warmth, and the kind of love that fills a room.

The Ceremony — The Secret Garden in White

Aleczander and Sophia chose Villa Miani's Secret Garden for their symbolic ceremony — a decision that proved perfect. Sheltered from the grand panorama of the main terrace, the Secret Garden offered something rarer: intimacy. Privacy. A sense of being entirely present in the moment.

The Hora Loca — When Venezuela Arrived in Rome

At 23:00, the energy in the room shifted entirely.

The hora loca — the "crazy hour" that is a cornerstone of Venezuelan and Latin American wedding celebrations — arrived without warning. Lights dropped. Music surged. And then, emerging through the room, came the mirror dancers: performers dressed head to toe in reflective mirror costumes, their movements catching and fracturing the light, turning the entire space into a living disco.

Feather boas, LED accessories, oversized props, confetti — the full theatrical arsenal of the hora loca descended on two hundred guests who had clearly been waiting for exactly this moment. The Venezuelan contingent knew every move. The international guests needed no convincing.

The mirror dancers led the procession through the villa — a shimmering, joyful parade — toward the Salone delle Feste, where the after party was waiting. The transition from dinner to dancing was not a moment but an experience: theatrical, surprising, completely unforgettable.
